Roboducation 2010 at University of Indonesia

Saturday, November 20th 2010, in same time with open campus University of Indonesia, there was other activity by the electrical engineering. that was ROBODUCATION or robot education. yep! all about robot. the team who made the robot was UI Robotics Team.

I only got 1 image hehe. some information about robot that I got from roboducation. not much because they didn't give us the summary and they told to high about robot (to high for high school, not for them)

robot can works in 4D areas, there was:

1. dangerous

2. dull

3. dirty

4. difficult

the dangerous area is like nuclear place

mean of dull is robot can works without rest

dirty area like clean human toilet

they works in 4A tasks, there was Automation, Augmentation and 2 other (hehe)

knowledge base for robotic:

1. mechanical

2. electrical (related with robot's sensor)

3. artificial intelligence, etc.

disciplines : math, physics, biology, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science

time needed to made a small robot is about several months, but to made robot in the picture we need 1 year. the UI Robotics Team usually use 'Bahasa C' as they programming language to produced their robots.
